Frost Amphitheater
OH - HEY there Frost Amphitheater audiophiles, hey there all our ragers and ravers who like to be center stage whenever our favorite crew takes the reins for a few days! And, well, you know what they say folks - it’s NEVER a bad day to have some Blooming May flowers in our way, am I right folks?! Especially when that means Dabin taking the center stage as our host!
DABIN - our CDJ korean-canadian audiophile who loves to drop the bass and do the ABSOLUTE most - is coming to our stage for a weekend we just CAN’T stay away from! Right here in the Amphitheater on Saturday May 2nd, Stay in Bloom returns for is 3 chapter - and we need you all riding the rails right next to the stage!
Tickets for day two of two are on sale NOW and starting at $136 for the time out with your crew. Y’all know what to do - we can’t wait to see you!
Oh this one is SPECIAL folks - and if you are LA this winter to get away from the gloomy and snowy winter blues - then there’s no place quite like Los Angeles - and especially our home here at The Wiltern when it comes to honoring musical legends and jamming out here with all our friends, and on Monday the 16th of Feb, we’re doing exactly that! Right here in the theatre when we welcome Celebrating David Bowie to the stage for a night dedicated to one of the most influential artists to ever exist - and for all of us to dance! Located right in the heart of Koreatown, The Wiltern has seen decades of genre-defining performances here in the city - from the greats to the new up and comers who we’ll be talking about we saw when they were young before their hayday. A concert that will showcase and celebrate all things Bowie - if you NEVER had the chance to see him live before he passed, you KNOW you gotta get here this time around and make it all last with our best friends in the crowd!
So - that name?! Celebrating David Bowie?? I mean, guess it checks out. The group was created and is led by musician and producer Angelo “Scrote” Bundini, who launched the project in 2016 following Bowie’s passing that same year. What began as a one-night tribute quickly grew into something much bigger, and Bowie’s name and catalog - and the lack of him in the music scene post 2016 - propelled their name to the stratosphere. Unlike a traditional cover band - this project is built as a rotating all-star concert crew that often features guest musicians and vocalists who bring their own voice and reverence to Bowie’s work. And through the sold out shows and encore performances across the world: the goal has always been clear from the band’s side: honor Bowie by performing his music with the same creativity, boldness, and freedom he lived by. No games or gimmicks - just true getting down to the music for all of us to enjoy like its 1999.
So yeah folks…if you love Bowie, even a little or you’ve just been curious, this is a night you just can’t skip. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just discovering how deep his catalog really goes, Celebrating David Bowie at The Wiltern is like peanut butter and jelly, toast and jam, OR - jamming out to your favorite band! Y’all know what to do, we can’t wait to see you!
