Frost Amphitheater Rules

Frost Amp would like all of their guests to have a safe and enjoyable time during the show. For that reason, they’ve created a set of policies and guidelines that must be followed. Please take the time to read these policies before the show. Failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund. If you have any questions about these policies then please contact the venue staff once you arrive or call Stanford Live at 650.724.2464.

Bag Policy

Frost Amphitheater has a clear bag policy. Only small clutch bags (no larger than 5”x8”) and clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12″W x 12″H x 6″D will be allowed inside the venue (one bag per person). Small clutch bags and non-clear diaper bags are permitted and can be carried separately or within a clear bag.

Blanket Policy

Blankets are permitted to be used on your lap or to stay warm but must fit in your clear bag. Blankets cannot exceed 40″x60”

Chair Policy

Chairs with legs, outside alcohol, coolers, and tables are not allowed.

Exchange Policy

Your tickets may be exchanged for another performance equal or greater in price value at Frost Amphitheater (subject to availability excluding Goldenvoice performances) or donated as a tax-deductible donation to Stanford Live. The general public will be charged a $10 exchange fee. Stanford students will be charged a $4 exchange fee.

Food Policy

Permitted food and beverage items include bagged snacks and personal food items, factory sealed water bottles 20 oz. or under (1 bottle per person), and empty, reusable water bottles. If the reusable bottle is over 20 oz it must be non-metal. Water refill stations are located near each restroom building in the venue. All snacks and bottles must fit in your clear bag.

Other food and beverages are available from on-site vendors.

Mask Policy

Masks are not required to attend events at Frost Amp. Though the event staff asks that you not come if you are sick or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or any similar infectious condition.

Prohibited Items Policy

The following items are not allowed within the venue. Please leave them at home or in your vehicles. Items found to be against the policy may be confiscated.

  • Chairs with any structured legs (low-back lawn chairs are NOT allowed)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Solid backpacks, solid fannypacks, solid purses, or any other bag not approved in the “clear bag” policy
  • Liquids in non-factory sealed containers
  • Outside alcohol and cutlery or metal silverware of any kind
  • Reusable metal water bottles over 20 oz
  • Glass of any kind
  • Large Blankets (over 40″x60”)
  • Tables and umbrellas
  • Coolers, picnic baskets
  • Strollers, wagons, scooters, skateboards, bicycles
  • Animals (with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA)
  • Cameras with detachable lens, audio or video recording devices, GoPros, selfie sticks
  • Smoking and vaping is not allowed anywhere in the venue
  • Hula hoops and poi sticks
  • Flow toys
  • Glow sticks, light sticks and Poi Balls (or other any battery-operated light larger than 2″ long)
  • Posters or Signs Larger than 8.5″x11″
  • Laptops
  • Any other item deemed inappropriate by staff

Vaccination Policy

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test is not required to attend outdoor events at Frost Amphitheater. By purchasing tickets to an event at Frost Amphitheater, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which may include, but are not be limited to, wearing masks, providing proof of vaccination status and/or providing proof of negative COVID-19 test.

Weather Policy

Events at Frost Amp happen rain or shine. This means that excluding the most severe of weather patterns, your event will not be canceled due to rain.
