The Frost Music & Arts Festival brings another installment of brilliant entertainment. The Standford Concert Network is a premier student organization that has dedicated itself to providing outstanding entertainment to the students and residents of Standard, California. The group has often hosted numerous shows throughout the year, including the much-awaited Frost Music & Arts Festival, which always happens in May.
This 2024 edition delivers a literal blast! Hip-hop titan Blxst is slated to deliver his latest set. The prolific rapper, singer, and wrapper is currently promoting the release of his new effort, Just For Clarity 2, which is a sequel to his groundbreaking sophomore EP. Blxst rose to prominence as one of the fastest-rising rappers in the scene. He dropped his debut EP, No Love Lost, which made waves on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Two years later, Blxst released his trailblazing debut album, Before You Go. Expect a remarkable performance as Blxst demonstrates his dynamic and high-energy set.
Aside from Blxst, the Frost Music & Arts Festival will also feature neo-soul and R&B icon Umi, who’s known for their viral 2018 hit, “Remember Me.” The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter recently dropped her latest EP, Talking to the Win, which spawned notable singles, “Happy Im” and “Why Don’t We Go.” In the same year, Umi also released the viral hit song, Wherever U R,” which peaked at number 5 on Billboard’s Digital Songs Chart.
Lastly, the night will also provide a fantastic performance from fast-rising indie pop star, Alemeda. The singer from Ethiopia is currently making incredible traction in the worlds of both pop and rock thanks to incredible artistry. The performer dropped her debut single, “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows,” in 2021. This year, Alameda dropped the viral breakup anthem, “Don’t Call Me.” Enjoy Alemedas’s unprecedented singles, including her major label debut, “UR SO FULL OF IT,” “Post Nut Clarity,” “and “First Love.”
