Mitski has announced more North American tour dates in support of her latest album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. The initial tour was set to end on April 13 in Tennessee, but Mitski's new itinerary now includes stops in Michigan, Maryland, Ohio, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and California. The newly added concerts will be held in August and September.

Mitski's The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We is the follow-up to her full-length Laurel Hell, which was released in 2022. Mitski debuted the new album with the lead track "Bug Like an Angel," followed by "Star" and "Heaven." When the album came out in September of last year, the success of the tune "My Love Mine All Mine," was deepend by getting viral on streaming services and social media applications like TikTok. This feat helped her gain a new wave of fans. Since then, the song has received over 400 million plays on Spotify and is presently ranked No. 4 on the TikTok Top 50 chart.

She also recently stated that she is writing the music and lyrics for an upcoming musical stage production of The Queen's Gambit.

On Mitski’s tour this year, she will be joined by a lot of talented artists on stage. Supporting acts Tamino, Sunny War, Julia Jacklin, Cowboy Junkies, and Sarah Kinsley. Arlo Parks, Ethel Cain, Laufey, Wyatt Flores and the Japanese band Lamp have been announced to take part in the tour. For the show at Stanford, Wyatt Flores will be opening for her.

As of writing, Mitski has opened the tour in Miami and here’s what the Miami New Times had to say about the show: “The alternative-pop musician has already staked a claim as a great American songwriter with her latest and best album, the Nashville-influenced The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. But her January 26 sold-out tour opener in Miami Beach did not simply manifest the expansive, symphonic country pop record as a spectacular live experience — it solidified her as an iconic onstage presence of generational significance, a star coming into its own, expanding outward, exploding into a long-lasting supernova.”

Don't miss out on seeing her live in Stanford because it's going to be incredible!
