Rezz is a Canadian DJ and producer who became a household name in the EDM scene for her style, characterized by heavy bass, ghostly soundscape, and mesmerizing rhythms. Her music is heavily atmospheric and gives off this sense of mystery. She has significantly made a mark in the EDM scene since her debut in 2015.

Isabelle Rezazadeh was born in Ukraine and moved with her family to Niagara Falls, Ontario, in her childhood. She became interested in EDM music during her teenage years and began producing at 16 as a hobby. After this, she quickly grew passionate about creating music, which was inspired more by DJs like Deadmau5, Zeds Dead, and Skrillex. In 2013, she began posting music on SoundCloud. In 2015, one of her big dreams came true as she was soon signed with Mau5trap Records, Deadmau5's record label. The following year, two of her EPs were released on the record label: "The Silence is Deafening" and "Something Wrong Here." The latter EP peaked at the 19th spot on the Billboard Dance Charts. She received a large following at the end of the year.

In 2017, Rezz's debut studio album "Mass Manipulation" came out. The album's single, "Relax," was her most famous. Its music video followed after. The next year, the album's success led to her winning the Juno Award for Best Electronic Album of the Year. After bagging the award, her sophomore album "Certain Kind of Magic" went public. It continued her success from her debut. Eager to release more music, her fourth EP, "Beyond the Senses," took the EDM scene on fire in 2019. The EP single "Dark Age" would then become a smash hit. Opportunities did fall on her lap that year as she continued collaborating with the rock band Underoath for the song "Falling." In 2021, from only dreaming of getting signed on Deadmau5's label, the EDM leading artist asked her for a collaboration. Their single "Hypnocurrency" came out months after. Her most successful album in the charts later came out. "Spiral" was a huge hit and secured her mainstream popularity in the 2020s.

For her tour this year, you can see her performance at the Frost Amphitheater on Friday, September 15. You can now buy tickets!
