Frost Amphitheater
Stanford may be known as a nerd school, and there’s no shame in that. Many of you who are going to get a chance to see Fred again … live at the Frost Amphitheater on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, will be running the world in the next few years. This Tuesday night, though, is going to be a perfect opportunity to let your hair down a bit and just vibe with his electro beats. The British product is one of the more talented artists in the electronic music circuit. Maybe that’s why he’s getting a chance to headline at the Frost Amphitheater. It’s a rough crowd to please.
Frederick John Philip Gibson is going to be on stage at the Frost Amphitheater for 3 days in a row. This Tuesday's performance is the first one of his mini Stanford residency. The British DJ has made a name for himself in the European club scene over the last few years. It’s also true that one of the things that has allowed him to rise through the ranks are his collaborations with Skrillex. He actually still opens plenty of shows for the famous DJ from time to time. Speaking of opening acts for these nights at Frost Amphitheater, no info has been released yet. Some of the top names in electronic music throughout the Bay Area may grace the stage as well that week.
Fred Again also was one of those artists who used the Covid pandemic to influence his music. That wasn’t just evident in some of his live shows from his rooftop that aired with all sorts of guests. This effort was one that many fans appreciated on those dark days. One of his most popular songs, “Marea” AKA “We’ve Lost Dancing” also directly references the fact that people were in lockdown. “Leavemealone” is another one of the popular singles that this artist has on record. The piano and keyboard sounds are always going to be present in his music. He’s certainly one of the more talented Djs of his generation.
The Frost Amphitheater is one of the best places in the Bay Area to head to one of these concerts. It’s not just because you’re in a massive theater with a bunch of open space next to minds that think alike. We’re, of course, talking about the electronic music tastes, not necessarily the fact that plenty of students will be in the crowd. It’s a large stage that allows artists to really put on unique acts. Someone like Fred Again is bound to bring along cool toys to set up his concerts. Since he’s going to be there a while, you can bet the setup’s gonna be good.
Keep in mind that only general admission tickets are being sold for these events. That means that you want to hit that get tickets button before they run out, first of all! Tickets for the Thursday show are already running low. It’s a matter of time before that bleeds over to the next performances. On that Tuesday, June 4th, you’ll want to get to the amphitheater early, almost right at doors, to catch a good spot!
