Re:SET Concert Series: LCD Soundsystem, Steve Lacy & boygenius - 3 Day Pass at Frost Amphitheater

The Re:SET Concert Series is a touring series of outdoor concerts that will debut in 2023. LCD Soundsystem, boygenius, and Steve Lacy will headline the debut event. Taking place over four weekends in June, each weekend will include three cities from the same area, with each Re:SET headliner performing in each location on consecutive days. The idea gives musicians a break from the typical summer agenda of sheds and amphitheaters. Fans attending Re:SET will also get a one-of-a-kind, community-focused experience, with food and beverages from local restaurants, pubs, and brewers. “We challenged ourselves to conceive an event that would give both the artists and the fans a different experience,” said President of Global Touring and Talent at AEG Presents, Gary Gersh. “At the end of the day, they both want the same thing: great locations, incredible sound, fantastic sight lines, and the best local options for food and drinks. Re:SET is a very fairly priced, artist-driven weekend where you can hang with friends and enjoy an evening of amazing music.”

LCD Soundsystem have finally graced the world with some brand-new music, "New Body Rhumba" was written and recorded specifically for the soundtrack to the 2022 Noah Baumbach film White Noise. This will be the band’s first original material in FIVE WHOLE YEARS! Variety spilled the beans in August 2022 with the track being released in September, the song has since been added for consideration for an Academy Award! The new song follows their previous chart topping fourth studio album, American Dream, from September 2017. Their first album to finally hit number one in the US, and got them nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, and "Tonite" won for Best Dance Recording!

Gemini Rights, Steve Lacy’s second studio album, again topped the Billboard 200! After becoming popular on TikTok, "Bad Habit" became Lacy's first single to top the Billboard Hot 100. This song is spectacular! It's no surprise that it's nominated for Record and Song of the Year Grammys! Plus, its album won Best Progressive R&B Album! To cap off a great year, Time magazine named Steve one of the 100 most influential people in 2023! That's astonishing!

In 2018, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus formed the best new indie rock supergroup, boygenius. The band announced their debut album, The Record, in January 2023, and released it on March 31. Critics from DIY, NME, and Rolling Stone's all gave it flawless scores! The album topped the Irish, Dutch, and UK charts! Becoming the band members' first number-one record! Despite peaking at number four on the Billboard 200, it still dominated every other category, topping the Folk Albums, and Top Rock Albums, and coming in a healthy 2nd place on the Top Alternative Albums, and Top Tastemaker Albums lists!
